What Is the Best Free Online Translator for English, Russian and Ukrainian?A free online translator is indispensable when in comes to translating a text or a webpage quickly in order to get the general gist of it. Languages supported by PROMT: Russian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. There are competitors that outperform the abovementioned free automatic translators when it comes to the quality of translations in English-Russian and English-Ukrainian language pairs. It is my opinion, as a professional translator and a native speaker of Russian and Ukrainian, that Google Translate, Bing Translator, and Babel Fish are definitely better that Pragma and PROMT. Again, in my opinion, Google Translate is No.1 in English to Russian and English to Ukrainian automatic translation. Google Translate makes it possible to translate short texts, files (PDF, TXT, DOC, PPT, XLS or RTF) and webpages in 50+ languages.
